Lost in Translations

Here's a quick story from yesterday that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.

You know how in the US the yellow packets next to the napkins at restaurants are Splenda....well here in the UK the yellow packets are salt. Imagine my shock when I sat down for lunch yesterday and emptied a yellow packet onto my fruit salad. After taking the first bite I literally laughed out loud as I instantly realized my mistake. Then I sat quietly and endured my extra salty strawberries and raspberries. I'm just going to chalk it up to a lesson learned.
